Exactly three years ago, on a rainy June evening Shamiana Short Film Club had it's first ever film screening.
Founded by theatreperson Cyrus Dastur, today the club holds screening across eight cities and reaches out to over four million people across the world.

To celebrate their third anniversary,u00a0 Shamiana is holding a special five-film-screening at Blue Frog tonight. The line-up includes Lucas Martell's Pigeon Impossible (which explore what would happen if James Bond was harrowed by a pigeon; would he still be able to save the world?), Karthik Subbaraj's Black & White, Sarvesh Mewara's News, Rodrigo Cort ufffds' Dirt Devil and Dastur's favourite Butterfly Circus (which so impressed Clint Eastwood that he decided to lend his name to the film and it's now being made into a feature film).
