New Delhi: The much-awaited Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone is yet to be launched globally but rumours are already making rounds about its India debut in April.


Samsung Electronics is all set to unveil its next flagship device S6 at Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona in March.

S6 is likely to sport a curved edge display on both sides of the handset. Currently, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge phablet has a separate screen on the edge of phone equivalent to breadth of a pencil and runs parallel along with screen. This screen can display SMS or email text, alarm, time, etc as customised by user.

Other reports also suggest that the Galaxy S6 could have a glass back. It may come with 4GB RAM powered with an Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core 64-bit processor or the Samsung Exynos 7420 chipset.

If rumours are to be believed, the device will sport a 5.5-inch QHD display and 20-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front.

Sources say that Galaxy S6 will come with a non-removable battery. Galaxy S6 may feature metal frames and glass on both the front and the rear panels.

The company has already sent invites for its March 1 event which says 'What's Next' with a curved design in a black background.

Samsung has also released a teaser which hints at metallic finish Galaxy 6 smartphone ahead of its March 1 launch.
