Actress Shabana Azmi, 59, was hospitalised with an excruciating ear ache. The pain was allegedly the result of the 30-odd kilos she piled on to play a well-fed Punjabi woman in Gurinder Chadha's It's A Wonderful Afterlife.
The actress's cholesterol and triglyceride levels shot up considerably. Experts are not surprised. They are constantly advising dieters against opting for yo-yo (hypo-caloric dieting) diets.
