For our review this week, we weren’t in the mood to visit another done-to-death frozen yoghurt destination that whipped up 25 fruit toppings. So, when we heard of World of Waffles, we did not mind skipping the last day of Comic Con to fulfill our sweet cravings. Ofcourse having said that, one hoped that the trek to the gigantic Phoenix Marketcity in Kurla (there’s another outlet on Carter Road) would be worth it.

The menu is divided into Classic Waffle, Waffle Delight (just regular waffles with extra toppings) and Waffle Sundaes. It’s the number of toppings that set all of them apart. What caught our eye was that the waffles made on the spot used eggless batter. It can be quite a task locating the kiosk in the mall, especially since its view is limited by a pop-up exhibition.
