So this Friday get off your couch and join the fun with Thermal And A Quarter(TAAQ),u00a0 the trendsetting rock band from Bangalore. TAAQ, which describes its music as 'Bangalore Rock', has been burning up the desi and international stages for almost 15 years now. The talented and experienced trio consists of Bruce Lee Mani (guitars and vocals), Rajiv Rajagopal (drums) and Rzhude David (bass and additional vocals).

Describing his band's Bangalore connection, Bruce Lee Mani says, "English is the language I am most comfortable in, I even think in English. The three of us are from Bangalore. We grew up there, have lived in South India and that is the reason we are comfortable in it more than our mother tongue." He adds: "We sound very unique, now it sounds dumb but it's hard to describe that in words. But if you ask me I think this is what makes us different from other bands out there." If you ask Bruce he has a list of bands he idolises. "I personally idealise the Steely Dan, Sting, Dave Mathews and Fish" says Mani.
