India is the flavour of the season. Not so much in the Queen's country, where we are losing every match we are playing, but here in our own land, where a septuagenarian Gandhian with a toothy smile is promising to upturn the social order for a corruption-free India. And what better way to celebrate this upheaval than revel in the myriad flavours the country has to offer.u00a0



From August 4 to August 31, this place in Saket offering cuisines from across the country at India Grill, their all day multi-cuisine restaurant. This week, indulge in the cuisines from West Indiau00a0-- Rajasthani, Gujarat and Parsi. The hotel has also tied up with Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd. to put up a grand display of Indian handicrafts and handlooms.

We tasted the Rajasthani cuisine and came back mighty impressed. Whether it is the Murgh akkhi masala, the Galiya gosht or the Laal maas, every dish left us asking for more. It's not often that you get to taste such cuisines from places near and faraway. Don't miss this one.
