Just as Om is considered the sound from which the universe originated, the Africans believe that the sound of their drum holdsthe same significance. Ladies of Midnight Blue, a prominent ‘Protest Culture’ band of UK will perform as well as teach you the art of African drumming at the popular culture hub, The Bandra Base. The band comprises African-American Jamaican Hannabiell Sanders and Dominican-American Yilis del Carmen Suriel who has been enrapturing worldwide audiences including at London 2012 Olympics and with Harlem Symphony Orchestra.
