Students of the Sophia Institute of Social Communications Media (SCM) are hosting an annual exhibition this week that will include documentary screenings, advertising campaigns and a photo exhibit
A bunch of young women running around with a big camera in their hand is not an unusual sight at the Sophia college campus this week. Every year, the students of the Sophia Institute of Social Communications Media (SCM) gear up for an exhibition that showcases what the students have worked on over the year.
This year the festival will include the screening of four documentaries: Streeyansathi (an English-Marathi documentary on the lack of public toilets for women in India), ‘I’dentity (on the journey of those with gender identity disorder), The Spirit of Women (on women and alcohol abuse) and Parenting Solo (on the difficulties of single parenting).
