To mark World Health Day, Wockhardt Hospitals, Mira Road hosted complimentary health check-ups to emphasise the significance of self-care and wellness for individuals in demanding professions such as police officers, senior citizens, teachers and media professionals, benefiting from the free check-ups to enhance their overall quality of life and to emphasise the importance of lifestyle.

Physician check-ups, blood sugar, blood pressure monitoring, and ECG were carried out for approximately 350-400 professionals. Police officers, teachers and media professionals often face significant health issues due to their erratic schedules and long working hours. These professions demand a high level of physical and mental alertness, leading to chronic stress, sleep disorders, urinary tract infections, high blood pressure, poor diabetes control and poor dietary habits.
