Having poor quality sleep may bolster genetic susceptibility to asthma risk, but a good night's sleep may help slash your risk of developing the chronic lung disease, according to a study.

Individuals with asthma usually have comorbid sleep disturbances, however, whether sleep quality affects asthma risk is still unclear.
