With Hip-Hop, beat boxing and graffiti artists flown down all the way from Europe, the Urban Culture Project, which starts today, hopes to encourage young artists in India to warm up to these urban experiences through workshops, interactions and an all-night performance to bring the curtains down
For young break-dancers and Hip-Hoppers in the city, the Urban Culture Project comes as a blessing — it brings the opportunity to not just watch masters of the art in action but to also interact and learn from these gurus, thanks to the numerous workshops that will be held in the city over the next few days. The four-day event has been organised to celebrate Europe Day, which falls today and is a collaborative effort between Alliance Francaise de Bombay, Bluefrog, German Consulate, Rikskonsertene and Sound Curry.
