Four years after the 26/11 terror attacks, NCPA hosts a memorial with the motive of making positive changes and looking ahead
Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges: We remember 26/11, an hour-and-forty-minutes-long memorial programme comes at a time when the news of Ajmal Amir Qasab, the lone terrorist captured after the attacks in 2008 being hanged in Pune earlier this week, continues to make waves.
It is perhaps apt then, that it claims to be an attempt to honour the oft-quoted ‘spirit of Mumbai’ in a bid to look forward. Conceptualised by theatre actor Devika Punjabi and organised by The Orchid Room Experiment, a production company jointly owned by her and actor Zafar Karachiwala, the event has also been organised with and for The Public Concern for Governance Trust (PCGT), a non-profit trust.
