1. How will you describe Attuned Spirits? What prompted you to produce this album throughu00a0crowd-sourcing?. Attuned Spirits means coming together of musical souls; people who are in sync with each other, are attuned to each other. The album is a blend of Indian sounds with Western Contemporary music, but interpreted in a different way. <img alt="" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/oct/vasuda.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 330px;" /> I started a crowd-funding campaign on Wishberyy.in. It was a big project with 30 musicians where all the music was recorded live. I had taken this up, individually, but wasn&rsquo;t in a position to source it all by myself. So, I thought of making use of thisu00a0innovative way of getting people to pay for the music they believe in. This was challenging as the concept is new to India but to my surprise, I managed to exceed the target amount in two months and got a lot of support and encouragement even from the music fraternity. 2. How have you and your music evolved since Aasma days? You were quite an introvert at the time. Have things changed now? It&rsquo;s been 10 years since Aasma. We all have evolved and grown so much as individuals as well as musicians. When Aasma happened, I was 18. It has been a long journey till this day, and definitely a memorable one. I always come across, as an introvert; I haven&rsquo;t changed much, except that my music does more talking now. 3. Do you have any more film projects in your kitty? Youru00a0future plans? I have always taken things as they come and even now I&rsquo;m open to anything interesting that comes my way. I composed music for a film called Shahrukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu in 2010 and then left for Berklee College of Music to do a course in Contemporary Writing and Production. I got back last year. So, currently apart from the album, I am working on Govind Nihalani&rsquo;s animation film called Kamlu, to be released end of this year.
