Pay a visit to Bliss Art Gallery and you will be transported to a mythical land. Artist Megha Kumar, whose Madhubani artworks are on display at the gallery depicts festivals and events such as birth, marriage and the stories in the epics through her art.
Madhubani, or Mithila is an old technique of painting that originated in the Mithila region of Bihar. The origins of this style of art are shrouded in antiquity and mythology. Kumar’s images showcase wedding rituals, the elephant God Ganesha, scenes from the Ramayana and the Krishna Leela where gopis are dancing with Krishna.
