A significant number of our city's historic landmarks, or architectural legacy, is owed to the British and the Portuguese.
Sadly, we remain indifferent to the maintenance of heritage structures that include churches, synagogues and forts.u00a0The almost 300-year-old St Thomas’ Cathedral in Horniman Circle is one such example from where a 30-kilo brass lectern was recently stolen.
