During the 2020 pandemic, almost every sector’s profit descended drastically. One of the most affected industries during the pandemic was the education industry. Students had to go through a lot academically. Most students weren’t getting the quality education that they needed via online classes. By witnessing this condition 2 students from Madhya Pradesh decided to come forward and help students by starting an online portal. PRanay Chouhan and Atharva Puranik strived hard to meet the needs of the students by providing them with the required study materials. Both Atharva and PRanay are pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science from SRM University and Amity University respectively.

Atharva and PRanay started the venture Padhle in the year March 2020 and today it is growing exponentially. Initially, the educational portal was a mere blog website that consisted of handwritten study materials. Unlike several other online portals which claim to have invested a hefty amount of money, the co-founders of Padhle started it with just 2000INR.

Gradually, Atharva started sharing the website on his YouTube channel and it helped in the website’s popularity. Few months of consistent efforts allowed them to take their venture to the next step and in no time the co-founders started launching several other YouTube channels.

PRanay’s hard work and dedication along with Atharva’s diligence converted this website into a brand. Today they have hired several professionals to handle the website. The Ed-Tech which was started by 2 people now consists of a team of experts of around 13 people. In March 2021, the startup was registered as a private limited company. When the co-founders were asked about their success, they said, “Our main aim is to ensure that students get the best education possible. Instead of going through the standard education method, we want to make sure that we deliver relatable content to which students can connect. In this way, they will be able to understand the concepts in a better way.” The startup is entirely bootstrapped and initially the founders ran the brand from their own pockets.

Out of several channels launched by Padhle, Padhle Tenthies which was launched for Class 10th students and Just Padhle which was launched for Class 9th Students have received immense popularity among the students, and are among the top viewed channels in their segments on YouTube. In March 2021, they have also launched various channels for Class 11 students, not just in one stream, but all three streams – Science, Commerce and Humanities. To deliver quality education, the startup is also hiring interns from all the reputed institutions including IITs, NITs, BITSs, and IIITs. Padhle has a subscriber base of close to 500,000 across YouTube. Launching their Mobile App allowed them to surge the popularity of their venture with 14000 downloads within 60 minutes. Now students can avail best possible education via a smartphone with the launch of this application. With more than a million views daily, Padhle is one of the fastest-growing Ed-Tech ventures in the K-12 segment. PRanay and Atharva aim to revolutionize the education industry and we all know that their passion will drive them to success.
