According to the latest survey, it’s women who are the driving force behind it all, with nearly 50 percent of them pushing their partner to try bondage and three out of four trying role-play compared to one out of four this time last year, the Daily Mail reported.

The global survey information released by leading designer brand for intimate lifestyle products LELO covers all aspects of a couple’s sex life from the duration of sexual encounters, to the most common places to have sex outdoors.
The feedback from the 10,000 women between the ages of 25-50 from eight different countries highlights a profound shift in women’s attitudes towards sexual relationships and a surge in interest for sensual accessories, with LELO reporting 400 percent growth in certain categories.
It seems that women are becoming a lot more domineering in the bedroom with 76 percent telling their partner exactly what they want in bed and 47 percent indulging in bondage.
The research also found that sex sessions last an average of 15 minutes longer than last year, and sex three times a week is now the norm.
Couples are also becoming more adventurous when it comes to where they have sex with a staggering 73 percent admitting to having sex in the car, 36 percent in a public park and 22 percent in the office.
Technology also plays an increasingly huge part in sexual relationships, as 71 percent of women admit to “sexting” their partner, with 73 percent enjoying phone sex.
