'My girl is getting married to someone else...'

Updated on: 10 July,2013 11:40 PM IST  |
Dear Diana |

Dear Diana, I'm 27 and in love with a girl from our office. She's the most beautiful person I've ever met.

'My girl is getting married to someone else...'

She literally bowled me over the day we met. But then I wasn’t her type so I changed myself to match her expectations. I gave up drinking and smoking and joined a gym to get back in shape. Now that I’m finally reaching her expectations, I realise that she wasn’t even expecting me to be the guy that I’ve become today. Turns out her parents have already fixed a match for her. She tells me once it is all fixed, she will quit as the guy is working in Muscat.

Dear Abeel,
There was only you in the relationship. You were honest and did everything to please her. But this girl just played along with you. May be she is too timid to tell her folks that there is a guy she likes. You did everything she wanted but did she? This girl does not deserve your love. If she is really interested in you, she should stop her parents from fixing her match. If not, it is time to move on. You will be feeling awful but there is no point being in this relationship. Next time be sure the girl reciprocates your feelings.

Diana will solve it!
