Dear Diana, I am 26 and working in an engineering firm. My girlfriend is 21 and still a student.
u00a0We know each other for more than two years now. We haven’t been physical as yet. However we keep sending lovey-dovey SMSes to each other. But my girlfriend is worried that someone else will read it when my phone is lying around. How do I pacify her?

Dear Orhan,
For starters, tell her that you lock your phone. So no one can access the phone. Second, tell her that you delete her messages after reading it. If she is still on tenterhooks, she can check your phone. It is normal for couples to send lovey-dovey SMSes to each other. So I really don’t comprehend the problem. Assure her that her messages will not be read by anyone else. If she is still scared, then tell her to stop sending you such text messages. If she still has doubts, then your girl has a problem. She needs help!
Diana will solve it!
