Dear Diana, I got married three months ago. My husband and I are part of a joint family. It is a huge family who all live together yet backbite each other.
My hubby gets influenced by them easily. I’m not at all happy to be part of this set up. Should I call it quits before it’s too late?

Dear Rima,
You need to give yourself some time before taking a decision. You were well aware that you would have to live in a joint family set up, so there is no point complaining about it now. Three months is too short a time to take any drastic step. As there are too many people in the house, there are bound to be some hassles as each person’s personality is distinct. You have to make yourself happy in the given situation. I also suggest take up a job or pursue something creative to keep yourself occupied too.
Diana will solve it!
