According to the Global Post website, the couple tucked in to their tasty stir-fry at their home in Sichuan province.u00a0It was only after they had hung the remains of the carcass on their kitchen wall for safekeeping that they noticed the meat was emitting a strange, blue glow, the Daily Mail quoted.
The likely cause is a type of fluorescent bacteria.u00a0Last year a number of residents in Changsha city discovered that the pork they had purchased from a supermarket emitted a blue glow at night.
Health officials were called in and were able to establish that the blue light was created from secondary bacterial contaminationnight!
