I don't know how to tell her what I feel

Dear Diana, I'm a 21-year-old student in love with a classmate. But I am scared to admit it to her. I think she does not feel the same about me.

But at times, she hugs me all of a sudden and makes me feel special. It’s quite awkward to be with her but then I don’t have a choice so I hangout with her as her best friend. I want to tell her what I really feel but I don’t know whether that would be right.

Good heavens! What are you waiting for? You shouldn’t waste any more time and tell her. I am sure she won’t freak out on you, since you have been with her for a while. I am sure she is a smart cookie and has guessed from your behaviour. If you can’t muster up the courage to tell her directly, drop hints. I am sure she will understand. She is probably waiting for you to tell her you love her first. You are assuming that she may not have the same feelings for you. But my dear boy you have not even confessed your feelings for her. So till it is just an assumption not a reality. So tell her now!
