Dear Diana, My wife and I decided to go our separate ways 18 months after our marriage. We had severe ego issues.
But not a day passes when I am not reminded of her. I now feel if I had controlled my anger and not made a big issue out of small things, we would have been a happy couple. I’ve also realised that I love her a lot. Maybe that’s why I haven’t been able to move on and haven’t had any relation with any woman since our separation. How do I win her back?

Dear Wren,
Have you been living separately or also filed for divorce? If it is the former it will be easier for you to win her back. Yours is a classic case of act in haste and repent at leisure. The period of 18 months is too short a time to make such life-altering decisions. Perhaps you should have sat down and spoken frankly about what was the cause of the breakdown in your relationship. You may want her back but does she want you now? It is going to be a tough call. Send her a message through a relative or friend and let’s see how she reacts. Also remember reconciliation will be good for both you but she will always have an upper hand in the relationship. She will always tell you that you wanted her back!
