New Delhi: Women rule the dating game in India, a study reveals. A nationwide research undertaken by a dating app has revealed insights into dating habits of the country.

A whopping 46 percent of women respondents said they are happy to take the lead in planning a date, while the corresponding number for men stood at 62 percent.

"We are noticing that women are no more hesitant when it comes to online dating; they are rather initiating and leading the conversations with men they match up with," the dating app CEO was quoted as saying.
The research also suggests that even as gender roles are interchanging; more women (53 percent of respondents) will choose a fulfilling relationship over a career.
As many as 48 percent women said they prefer brains over brawn, while 52 percent men prefer success over good looks.
About 47 percent men and 48 percent women respondents said they are open to sharing their Facebook password with their partners.
