"There was even a guy from Klang who thought a date from Cheras would be too far for him," she added. The Cupid Space, set up in 2001 with the objective of encouraging more marriages among eligible Chinese, has organised 94 matchmaking activities. However, it has a low success rate of just 7 percent in matchmaking single people.
