Dear Diana, I love my husband very much and am extremely possessive about him. Some of my friends were telling me the other day about how my husband was seen flirting with another woman at a social do we went together to
Some also say that he has always been a flirt. Now I am all the more possessive and get increasingly angry when I see him even talking to any other woman. He says he has nothing to be ashamed of as he’s not doing anything wrong. He calls it talking, not flirting. I know I might be wrong but I can’t help myself. What should I do?

Dear Rupika,
You say he calls it talking, not flirting. And he’s right. You seem to be an insecure psycho out to ruin his life. Who are these friends of yours observing the behaviour of your hubby at a party? They need to keep an eye on their husbands, not on other people’s partners. You can’t keep your hubby on a tight leash and dart instructions about whom to talk to. If you do this, he will go all out there and do exactly what you stop him from doing. You need to take a reality check and know what flirting means. He may have some good female friends, they may be his childhood buddies or from his student days. It does not mean he wants to bed them! Also, remember what if he told you not to talk to any guy. How would you react? You will feel stifled, right? So think before you tell him anything next.
