Dear Diana, I am a 15-year old girl with a serious problem. My face is full of pimples. I don't get it how my friends have clear skin whereas mine is an eyesore.
To add to my troubles, some of them sprout right on my nose, making socialising an embarrassment as well as a pain. I’m writing to you because I wanted to share this with someone who is not in touch with me. I’m applying facewash and all, as recommended by the doctor but I don’t see any visible change in my condition. My mother says it’s just a temporary thing and will improve as I age. I hope she’s right.

Dear Nirmala,
First of all, you are just 15 and it’s quite common among girls your age to have pimples on the face. It’s also part of growing up. Secondly, you come across as someone who worries a lot. I’d say you should just take a long breath, relax and don’t bother where your next pimple will pop up! Since you’ve mentioned that you’re already taking medical attention, consult a reputed skin specialist for a better solution. As a general advice, don’t keep fidgeting with your face, drink lots of water, have less oily food, exercise and try to enjoy your summer vacation for a change. u00a0
