Dear Diana,
My girlfriend and I have been together for five years. We have been seeing each other since our internship days after completing our MBBS. Of late, however, we have been arguing a lot. I feel she doesn't care for me now. When I voiced my concerns, she laughed it off. She tells me as we work in long duty shifts, there is bound to be some hiccups in our relationship. But she's promised, she will change but there are no signs of it. What do I do?u00a0u00a0

Dear Daneesh,
You have told her how you feel about the current scenario, but she is not taking you seriously. You need to knock sense into her head by telling her you are considering ending the relationship. Tell her you are willing to put in the effort to make it work but she needs to do the same too. Also, both of you need to get that spark back. You can't blame work and the long shifts for it. Go out whenever possible, do romantic things foru00a0 each other. But at the same time do not put undue pressure on her. If she loves you, she will make amends. Also, hang out with your guy friends, spending time away from her will also enable you to gauge whether she misses you and cares for you.
