Sounds from the underground

For those who love to explore artistes who despite not topping popular polls produce music that blows off the mind, the gig by Vdot Emerge this week is the place to head to. The property aims at popularising underground music artistes and works as a gateway between Indian and international artistes.

Engine-Earz

The performance happening today will see Bass music collective Engine-Earz (started by DJ/producer Prash Mistry) from the UK who will perform alongside Hip Hop and Dubstep group Foreign Beggars. Popular Indian musician Randolph Correia and DJ Asa will also perform at the event.

Jaideep Singh, Senior Vice President and Business Head, INS, Viacom18, tells us, “Consumption of music in the form of live events is rapidly gaining popularity, especially with today’s millennials, as it enables them to instantly
connect with the artistes. Vdot Emerge is a dedicated platform that exposes music lovers to a wide range of genres in music. It also aids in showcasing international talent in the country and engage the audience through fresh and unique sounds.”
