Navratri festival, which is one of the most awaited festivals of the year begins on October 10. Dandiya a folk-dance form that has originated from Gujarat, is a popular dance form in the Western states of India, including Maharashtra. In Mumbai too, people dress up in colourful attire and gather in large numbers at different venues to groove to Garba and Dandiya music during the season of Navratri.
