Pain du Jour, a bakery service in Oshiwara sprinkles happiness for Andheri residents

These days Oshiwara is caught in the whiff of baked dough. Pain du Jour (French: bread of the day), a new bakery service delivers French breakfast delicacies from Oshiwara to Seven Bungalows in Andheri (W). When we dialed the place, it wasn’t reverted initially but during a call back, we were told that they’d deliver delicious goodies within a day’s notice.

We were ready to let the dough roll out: Pain au Chocolat et Orange (Orange and Chocolate Croissant, Rs 95), Pain de Tradition (French Country Bread, Rs 50), Tresse D’Amande (Almond Brioche, Rs 100), a Bacon et Moutarde au Meil (Bacon and Honey Mustard Buns, Rs 70) and a Verte Pomme et Camembert (Green Apples and Camembert Cheese buns, Rs 75). While we texted the 23-year-old Neha Mahendra, the one-(wo)man army who was busy prepping the oven at Oshiwara, we anticipated a delightful breakfast as the last section from the menu, Treats from Wonderland seemed very exciting. The Mad Hatter is clearly hungry!
