Breweries surfaced only recently in Mumbai. Almost Indian, a company formed by Sanchit Gupta and Pulkit Chokhani because they were disappointed with Mumbai's nightlife options, will be organising the Mumbai Brewery Crawl, in collaboration with the two popular breweries &mdash; The Barking Deer and The White Owl.

So, what is a Brewery Crawl? Often referred to as a Brewery Tour or Brewery Hopping, it is the act of one or more people drinking in a number of breweries in a single night, normally walking between them. The event will be open to all beer enthusiasts who must be old enough to drink (21 years and above).
The event promises to include free welcome shots at The Barking Deer till 9.30 pm, an educational tour of the microbrewery The Barking Deer (and at The White Owl at 11 pm, in case you miss the one at The Barking Deer). This apart, there&rsquo;s a 1+1 deal on all brewed beers at The Barking Deer, a free beer tasting at The White Owl on all their seven brews, and &lsquo;Supersize your Brew&rsquo; deal at The White Owl where you get a complimentary upgrade. For every 330 ml brewed beer that you buy, you get a 550 ml beer instead.
