What's the connection between, chocolates, strawberries and Valentine's Day? Well, nothing much really, except that just as love, chocolates and strawberries make the world a better place too. So, when we hear that La Folie has introduced a special valentine's menu, we decide to drop in and taste their His and Her cakes, which make use of the two flavours.


Desserts for 'Him' and 'Her' at La Folie 

Imagine our surprise when we are greeted with a cake with a big, macho moustache on top. The 100 % Chocolat is a cake made using Venezuelan chocolate mousse and our spoon slides in smoothly as we go for a bite. Complementing the smooth texture of the mousse is the crunchy and crispy praline feuilletine and the delicious chocolate fondant underneath. No wonder, it's a big hit with us.
