Bensan Varghese, beverage manager at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, recently launched the 'Gin-Seng festival' at Dashanzi, the Asian gastropub. Inspired by Gin Seng – a Chinese herb and plant with medicinal properties, Bensan created his own version of a healthy cocktail using Indian herbal plants. 'Gin Seng Spritz' has Ashwagandha as its signature ingredient. This medicinal herb was once considered as an elixir for eternal life by the Indian kings and queens!
