As technology became increasingly relevant, and WFH a reality, careers such as coding, automation, machine learning, creating drones that capture aerial footage, and mobile app design have garnered interest, especially among children.
Bengaluru-based institute Emplihi, which conducts virtual classes, will organise an advanced robotics course for children where they will be introduced to Arduino (C++) programming, thereby learning to create robots that perform different tasks. A Robo kit containing materials such as control boards and sensors will enable kids to create projects which will help them master robotic movements and machine learning — creating machines which work with reduced human intervention. Experts will give kids mini projects to complete including creating robots relevant and applicable to this day and age, for example, plant watering robots or those that clean floors.
