Birding around

The birding season is here again. Located along the Eastern Express Highway, the scrub, mangrove and salt pan habitats of Bhandup Pumping Station (BPS) make it a wetland haven for a large variety of resident and migratory birds. Naturalist Foundation is hosting a birdwatching session at BPS, wherein one can walk by the salt pans and get a chance to witness storks feeding, plovers and pipers peeping, and flocks of flamingos painting the scene pink.
