Approximately 7.8 million women have been diagnosed with breast cancer in the past five years making it the world’s most prevalent form of cancer. October is globally observed as World Breast Cancer Month. However, not many people are aware of these facts. The Breast Imaging Society of India (BISI) strives to create more awareness for the cause and initiate conversations that result in solutions. With this goal in mind, BISI is ready to host Walk the Talk, a virtual walk-a-thon for breast cancer. Participants from all over the globe can record their steps and help make a difference. They will receive a participation certificate. You can join from anywhere, from a park to a treadmill, as long as you walk the talk. So, take a walk for a cause this weekend.
