Are you a science fiction geek whose face lights up at the mention of Star Wars, or who just can’t stop belting out trivia on Doctor Who? If you’re quietly saying aye, India Wants To Know’s (IWTK) upcoming online sci-fi quiz is your jam.

IWTK is India’s first panel quiz show, which also makes space for friendly banter and rewards you for funny answers. Bengaluru-based founder Sai Ganesh shares the sci-fi quiz is part of their online quizzing series — purportedly India’s largest — and will be hosted by Gautam Shenoy, an experienced quizzer and columnist. “He’s not only a passionate quizzer, but also passionate about getting people to read science fiction. The quiz is going to be quite accessible, so even if you don’t know much, you’ll go back with recommendations and a lot of material to read up on,” he shares.
Ganesh notes that the Indian quizzing scene has always been centred on storytelling. The advent of Zoom quizzes has boosted its popularity. “Now, the population of non-quizzers has grown because anyone, anywhere can join,” he adds.
