The city’s water edifices have found their way onto postcards and bookmarks at the hands of Mumbai-based architect Rahul Chemburkar. Along with his firm Vaastu Vidhaan, Chemburkar has created a collection that brings Mumbai’s rich cultural heritage to the fore, with unique sketches that depict different water monuments across the city. “This is an art initiative for people to connect with the heritage in Mumbai. During the pandemic, I revisited many sketches that I had created in the past 10 to 20 years. I thought that since I’m working in the field of heritage, I should launch this as an initiative. So, I started with water monuments as the first step,” says Chemburkar.
