In the mood for music? Soul Temple is here to drive away mid-week blues with their energetic performances. This city-based band that specialises in Indo-western pop and rock fusion is known to have a way with audiences.

Behind the stories


A two-day workshop, Love Lust and Desire, with Utkarsh Patel and Arundhuti Dasgupta of The Mythology Project will discuss tales of Radha and Krishna and the then-rigid social structures.

Fashion forward

The label pero, which means ‘to wear’ in Marwari, was set up by designer Aneeth Arora to interpret global aesthetics using local material and skills. This weekend, the label will pop up at Bandra’s The Vintage Garden, a platform to showcase the arts. Drop by to revisit péro classics.

Sunday
The legend lives on

While we call her the nightingale of Hindi music, Urdu Markaz calls Lata Mangeshkar Bulbul-E-Hind. In her memory, the Urdu Cultural Centre and ghazal singer Pooja Gaitonde will be paying a musical tribute to the songstress.

Wandering through Vasai’s heritage

The thrill of knowing a city through its ruins and cultural emblems never fades away. This heritage walk in and around Vasai Fort will delve into the fort’s architecture and the local culture of the area. Participants will be taken to a local café for refreshments, and to know each other better.
