With the advancement of animation technology taking hold of the film and media landscape, it might be the ideal avenue to nurture creativity among children. xQ Creative Xplorers is hosting a workshop exclusively for kids to help them learn the tricks of stop motion animation and get the opportunity to unlock their storytelling potential under the guidance of creative professionals with real-world experience. “We treat creativity as a practical, learnable skill that kids can practise and develop over a period of time. The workshop is designed to give wings to the imagination and creativity of the child and communicate them better,” shares Simon Jacob, its CEO and co-founder.

The idea of the workshop is to encourage and give children the freedom and engagement to think out of the box. They are allowed to develop their imagination by thinking up their own ideas and finding innovative ways of communicating them through the medium of stop motion videos.

“Of late, many workshops are focused towards building the skill itself instead of holistic creative expression and development. Our focus is on developing qualities like imagination, collaboration and communication through our advanced teaching methods,” summarises Jacob.
