With its predictable but charming storyline and scenic locales, Emily in Paris was just the palate-cleanser that viewers across the world needed, trapped in their homes by the early throes of the pandemic. Of course, no show that’s set in Paris, one of the world’s fashion capitals, can slip past without raising commentary about the clothes worn by the cast and, on that front, the show did deliver. With the release of the second season, viewers eagerly expected more of the same. Once again, the makers deliver with big, bold fashion that veers on the unapologetically OTT at times, but also does a fine job of capturing this year’s hottest trends.
