The Diwali holidays are upon us and, for parents seeking creative outlets to hone their children’s imagination; Toon Club’s workshops may fit the bill. The organisation, which specialises in teaching animation to children and adults, is conducting three sessions for children of eight years and above.

The first of these is a cardboard stop-motion workshop, which also raises awareness about ecology and the importance of conservation. Then, there’s animate anything, a session where kids learn stop-motion animation, and the spinning story, which teaches frame-by-frame hand-drawn animation using everyday materials. No prior art experience is required to participate.
