A global programme will host online screenings of five short films themed on the LGBTQI+ community

While marginalisation of communities continues to be rampant, amplifying the voices of the marginalised is imperative. That’s the idea behind Five Films for Freedom, an online short film programme hosted by the British Council and BFI Flare to support LGBTQI+ rights. In India, British Council India is partnering with The Queer Muslim Project, which is the largest virtual network of queer, Muslim, and allied individuals in South Asia. So, until this weekend, five films can be streamed for free.
