23-year-old stabbed after fracas at road signal in Vashi, admitted to hospital

The Vashi Police has lodged an FIR against unknown persons and is trying to trace the attackers

A 23-year-old was stabbed by unknown persons for honking at them after the signal turned green. The youth was stabbed so badly that he had to be rushed to the hospital with an intestine in hand. “Due to timely medical intervention, the youngster is now out of danger but remains in the ICU of a Vashi hospital,” the police said. The Vashi Police has lodged an FIR against unknown persons and is trying to trace the attackers.

According to the police, the incident occurred on May 5, when Ajay Sagre had ventured out on his bullet with his friend Pratik Thakur, who was injured in the incident. Both reached the signal at Kopri village around 11.30 pm and stopped after the signal turned red. While waiting, they spotted two bikes ahead of them.
