The 22-year-old victim, a resident of Barnala, was rushed to the DMC Hospital where her condition was stated to be stable, police said.

The boy aged about 25 years managed to escape on some vehicle parked outside the beauty parlour in the Sarabha Nagar locality, Commissioner of Police (CP), Ludhiana N S Dhillon said.
