Rajkot: A 21-year-old girl was stabbed to death allegedly by her jilted lover in a college campus today, a police official said here today. The accused has been arrested, the official said.

Diksha Makawana, a resident of Puja Park area and asecond year commerce student of P D Malaviya College, was stabbed to death by Raju Makawana, the police official said. "The incident took place this morning when Diksha was in the college for her final exam.

Raju waited for her in the college compound, rushed towards her and stabbed her with a sharp-edged object," Malaviya Nagar police inspector M R Godhaniya, who is investigating the case, said. The seriously injured girl was rushed to the Rajkot civil hospital where she was declared dead on arrival, the official said.
