Gurgaon: A 15-year-old boy was Tuesday held for raping his neighbour's five-year-old daughter, police said.

The families of both the boy and the girl hail from Panna district of Madhya Pradesh. The two families live in Ashok Vihar Phase-3.
"The boy went to the girl's house and asked her mother to collect a cooking gas cylinder from his house. He then targeted the girl in her mother's absence," Deputy Commissioner of Police Sangeeta Rani told IANS.
The incident took place Tuesday noon. People on the street heard the girl crying and found the accused inside the room.
The girl's mother informed police and a case of rape and charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act were registered.
The girl was taken for treatment to a hospital here, while the accused was produced before a magisterial court which sent him to a juvenile home, police said.
