ANC Kandivali busts Rs 1.16-crore heroin racket in Mumbai; two peddlers arrested

According to ANC officers, the two arrested suspects — one a native of Uttar Pradesh and the other from Bihar — had been living in the Bandra area for the past few months. They had allegedly travelled to Andheri to deliver a consignment of heroin when they were intercepted

In a late-night crackdown on drug trafficking, the Anti-Narcotics Cell’s (ANC’s) Kandivali Unit seized 292 grams of heroin worth Rs 1.16 crore and arrested two alleged drug peddlers in Andheri West, Mumbai, on Tuesday.

According to ANC officers, the two arrested suspects — one a native of Uttar Pradesh and the other from Bihar — had been living in the Bandra area for the past few months. They had allegedly travelled to Andheri to deliver a consignment of heroin when they were intercepted.
