Bhayander man booked for throwing 70-year-old mother out of the house

Son, wife allegedly brutally assaulted mother and banged her head on the wall over property

Bhayander police on Thursday booked a man and his wife for assaulting, abusing and evicting his 70-year-old mother and sister out of the house.

According to the police, the complainant Chandrikaben Himmatlal Mehta owns a flat at Shanti Park, Geeta Nagar in Bhayander West, where she stayed with her daughter Chetna, 45, son Dharmesh, 48, and daughter-in-law Tanuja, 35, along with her two grandchildren.
 
Dharmesh asked her to give the flat’s papers, but when she refused to give the same, he and his wife brutally assaulted her and banged her head on the wall. When Chetna intervened, she was abused and assaulted by the duo. Later, they threw them out of the flat and were not allowed to take any items, including clothes, said a police officer.
